Getting here

How far is the drive?

About forty minutes from most of Jacksonville. We are at 5937 John Wilkinson Rd, out west of the city. It is a real drive and we would rather you know that now than find out on the day.

What are the directions?

From Jacksonville, take I-10 west to Cecil Commerce Center Pkwy. Turn right onto New World Ave, right onto Normandy Blvd, left onto CR 217, left onto CR 218, then left onto John Wilkinson Rd. Our entrance is about a mile along on the right.

From Orange Park, take Blanding Blvd south to Middleburg. Turn right onto CR 218, then right onto John Wilkinson Rd. You will see our sign, and the entrance is about a mile along on the right.

From Gainesville, take State Road 24 to US-301 north. Turn right onto CR 218, then left onto John Wilkinson Rd. Our sign is out front and the entrance is about a mile up on the right.

Google Maps wants me to turn onto Richard Lang Road. Should I?

No. Google Maps will tell you to turn down Richard Lang Road and that is incorrect. Stay on John Wilkinson Rd, and our entrance is about a mile along on the right.

Where does everybody park?

On site, and it is free. There is room for 300 cars. For a large event our team is out front guiding people in as they arrive.

Is there a shuttle, and can guests get a rideshare home?

We do not provide shuttle service. You can get here with Uber or Lyft, but there are usually no drivers out this way at the end of the night, so guests need to plan their ride home in advance for their own safety.

The day

How long do we have the farm?

You have the venue for the amount of time listed on your contract. A standard contract includes up to 12 hours on the day of the event. You choose the start time, as long as everything is finished and everyone is off the property by 11:00 PM.

What time should we start the ceremony?

Work closely with your photographer on this, because the light for the ceremony and for your photographs is what really decides it. In warmer months a later ceremony helps you avoid the heat. In cooler months, putting cocktail hour in the warm afternoon sun is the thing your guests will thank you for. Keep in mind that an earlier ceremony can mean guests leave before the evening ends at 10:00 PM.

What happens if it rains?

In the case of rain we have a beautiful backdrop inside the barn. Guests sit at their tables and the team moves the few (usually 3-5) tables down the middle of the room to create a beautiful aisle.

What time does the music have to end?

Music on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays must conclude by 10:00 PM, so that you, all of your items and all of your vendors are off the property by 11:00 PM.

Is there somewhere to get ready?

Two places. The bridal suite is on the ground floor of the Manor House, in what has always been Ms. Violet's room, with hair and makeup space, two restrooms, gown hanging space, a snack and drink area and an ice machine. The groom's room is the Shack Out Back: wooden walls, a tin roof, couches, a full-length mirror, hanging space, a refrigerator, a snack table and a PS4.

How big is the barn?

The main reception barn offers a spacious and flexible area for your celebration. The interior measures 72 feet long by 37 feet wide. The rustic wooden support poles are spaced throughout the barn, with ten poles on each side. The distance from the center of one pole to the center of the next is 8 feet, which can be helpful when planning your floor plan and decor placement.

Can we rehearse on site?

We encourage every wedding party to rehearse, but rehearsing here is not required. If you do want an onsite rehearsal we schedule it the week before, depending on other events, and we set the time at our final meeting. One hour of rehearsal the week before is included with a ceremony and reception.

Will somebody from the farm be here during the event?

Yes. Team members are on site throughout the event to help as needed.

Can we take photographs around the farm on the day?

Sure. Just ask us and we are happy to make recommendations. Couples usually want the oak lawn, the tree-lined gravel road, the porches, the wooden fences, the rope swing, the jasmine wall, the 1953 Ford pickup, the back pasture we call the enchanted forest, and whatever the sunset is doing off the front field.

Will there be another wedding the same day?

No. We only host one wedding each day, so that every couple's event is theirs and gets our full attention. Because of that, our fee is the same whether you hold your ceremony here, your reception here, or both.

Food and drink

Can we bring our own caterer or a food truck?

Yes. Outside vendors are welcome here, and that includes food trucks. There is power on the barn posts for anybody who needs it, and your vendors load out with everything they brought by 11:00 PM.

Can we put out snacks and trays?

Outside food and drink is permitted prior to the ceremony. It is not allowed after the start of the event.

What is the alcohol policy?

If intoxicating beverages are present you are required to use the All 4 One Farms certified bartender. You supply all the beer, wine and champagne and give it to the bartender on the morning of the wedding. Hard liquor is limited to specialty drinks, and we can send you the full hard liquor policy on request.

The bartender serves legal aged adults until the beverages are gone or the time allowance has expired, and reserves the right to limit what any one guest is served. No other alcohol may be brought onto the property. The bartender serves for up to five hours, and additional hours carry an additional fee.

Are glass bottles allowed?

No. Please, no drinks in glass bottles anywhere on the property.

Booking

How do we hold a date?

A $1,000 retainer and a signed rental agreement hold your date. Send us the date you want along with a backup date, because dates are reserved on a first requested basis. Peak months tend to book 12 to 18 months ahead.

When are payments due, and is there a payment plan?

To secure your wedding date, a $1,000 retainer is required along with a signed rental agreement. Fifty percent of the total balance is due nine months before the event and the final payment is required 90 days prior to the wedding. We also offer a payment plan, so you can make smaller monthly payments. We accept cash, check or Venmo, and there is a $500 refundable security deposit.

Do we need event insurance?

Yes. An event policy is required through NuptialRisk. We also strongly recommend cancellation insurance to protect what you have put into the day, and it can be purchased through the same provider.

How far in advance do you need our final headcount?

Three weeks before the event.

Can we just stop by for a look?

We kindly request that all tours are by appointment only. Tours run about 45 minutes to an hour, and it helps to bring whoever is helping you decide. Pick a time on our calendar and it is held for you.

When is the next open house?

Our open house events are for couples who have already taken a private tour or booked with us. They are a chance to bring friends, family or vendors who are helping with your planning. Ask us when you tour and we will tell you what is on the calendar.

Our date is taken. Do you keep a cancellation waiting list?

We do not keep a cancellation waiting list, because cancellations are rare and unpredictable.

Can our dog be part of the day?

We are dog friendly, with some stipulations. Dogs are allowed at the ceremony and for pictures. Animals other than service animals are not allowed under roof or near food. Dogs must be on a leash at all times, and somebody other than the couple has to be responsible for them. We also need up to date shot records before the event.

Can we nail decorations to the walls or hang things from the beams?

Please do not nail or screw into any walls or structures. You can use wire, fishing line or zip ties that do not damage the surface.

What are we responsible for cleaning up?

Couples are responsible for removing all the decor they brought, from both the ceremony and the reception area. Our staff handle all standard cleanup and trash removal. Damage or excessive cleaning comes out of the security deposit.

Can our vendors pick things up the next day?

Typically all rentals and vendor items are loaded out at the conclusion of your event. If there is no event scheduled the next day, you may request that rentals be picked up the following day. Ask Diane or Glenn at info@all4onefarms.com.

Do you provide linens, cups and silverware?

No. We provide the venue, the tables, decor and upgraded wedding chairs for the time on your contract. Linens can be rented through us but they are not included in the rental fee, and you are welcome to bring your own. We do not provide cups or silverware.

What kind of tables do you have?

We have 4 foot, 6 foot and 8 foot rectangular tables, 60 inch round tables and high-tops. Our tables seat 8 to 10 guests, so nine to a table is no trouble.

What tables, chairs and ceremony pieces are included?

For your reception seating, we provide 60-inch round tables. These tables are designed to comfortably seat 8 to 10 guests, allowing for easy conversation and a welcoming atmosphere.

We offer a versatile selection of rectangular tables to accommodate your head table, buffet line, gift display, DJ booth, and more.

  • 8-foot rectangular tables
  • 6-foot rectangular tables
  • 4-foot rectangular tables

Ideal for your cocktail hour or creating conversational nooks around the reception space, we have five 32-inch round high-top tables available. These stand at a height of 43 inches, making them the perfect standing-height table for guests to mingle and place their drinks.

The classic white wedding chairs included with your rental are a standard size. The overall height of each chair is 30 inches. Our antique oak pews will seat up to 100 guests.

A popular choice for a ceremony backdrop, our beautiful cedar arch stands 8 feet tall and 7 feet wide, creating a stunning frame for your vows. As an alternative, our striking cedar cross measures 9 feet tall and 6 feet wide, offering a classic and elegant focal point.

How do we get a marriage license?

Marriage licenses come through the Clay County Clerk of the Court. Their recording department handles it and their site walks you through what to bring.
