One wedding a day.

Up to twelve hours, and the farm is yours.

A standard contract runs up to 12 hours on the day. You pick the start time, as long as everything is finished and everybody is off the property by 11:00 PM. Because we only book one wedding a day, the whole place is yours for all of it.

Vendors

Bring the people you want. Outside vendors are welcome here, food trucks included, and we are glad to point you at what has worked well on this property before.

Your team can get in during your 12 hours, and everything they brought goes back out with them by 11:00 PM. There is power on the barn posts for anyone who needs it.

Add a day of coordinator through us if you want somebody holding the timeline so you do not have to.

The vendors our couples still need

The bar

The bar is the one thing we do not hand off. If there is alcohol on the property, our certified bartender runs it.

You supply all the beer, wine and champagne and get it to the bartender on the morning of the wedding. Hard liquor is limited to specialty drinks, and we can send you the full policy on that. The bartender serves for up to five hours, and additional hours cost extra.

No drinks in glass bottles anywhere on the property. That one is about bare feet in the grass.

A sample day

A day here

This is a sample day, not a schedule we hand you. Yours will look different. It is here so you can see how twelve hours actually spends itself.

  1. 11:00 AM The gate opens.

Twelve hours starts here. Vendors come in, we have the tables and chairs set, and both suites are open.

  2. 1:00 PM Hair and makeup.

Ms. Violet's room on the ground floor of the Manor House. Two restrooms, an ice machine and a snack table, because this part always runs long.

  3. 3:30 PM Photographs before the ceremony.

If you are doing a first look, this is usually when. The gravel road and the fences are two minutes from the house.

  4. 4:30 PM Guests arrive.

In along the pine-straw path, through the wooden gate, and down to the seating under the oaks.

  5. 5:00 PM The ceremony.

Most run twenty to thirty minutes. Your photographer is the right person to help you pick the hour, and we say more about that in the questions.

  6. 5:30 PM Cocktail hour at the pool.

The bar opens. You two go out to the front pasture while the light is doing what it does at that hour.

  7. 6:30 PM Dinner in the barn.

Tables of 8 to 10 under the chandeliers. Caterer or food truck, either one works out here.

  8. 7:45 PM First dance at the light wall.

Then toasts, then the floor belongs to everybody else.

  9. 9:00 PM The firepit.

There are benches out there for the people who have been standing since four.

  10. 10:00 PM Music off.

Music on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays has to be finished by ten. Sparkler exits and goodbyes happen in the quiet, and honestly they are better that way.

  11. 11:00 PM Everybody out.

You, your people, your vendors and everything you brought are off the property by eleven. Our staff handle the standard cleanup and the trash.

Holding a date

A $1,000 retainer and a signed rental agreement hold your date. Dates go on a first requested basis, so it is worth sending a preferred date and a backup at the same time.

Fifty percent of the balance is due nine months before the event and the final payment is due 90 days before the wedding. We also offer a payment plan so you can make smaller monthly payments. Cash, check or Venmo.

There is a $500 refundable security deposit, and an event insurance policy is required through NuptialRisk. We strongly recommend cancellation insurance too, which comes from the same place.

We host one wedding a day and that never changes. Peak months tend to go 12 to 18 months out. Tours are by appointment only and run about 45 minutes.
